Joseph attended the University of Maryland, College Park from 2016-2021. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice & Criminology, a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, and a Minor in Classical Mythology. He currently lives in Austin and is enrolled in the Ph.D. program for Chemistry at the University of Texas where he is a graduate research assistant in the Simon Humphrey Research Group.

His best memories from Chapelgate are the rigorous courses of AP US History taught by Mrs. Durant, AP Literature taught by Mr. Apple, as well as Calculus and AP Physics taught by Mr. Cagle. The time he made a music video and a movie with some friends for Digital Photography was a thing of beauty (we went all out to make ours dramatic and the more dramatic it became, the funnier it got for us) was also special. He also remembers enjoying conversing with the many faculty over the lunch breaks. He had a blast talking to Mrs. Prentice about chemistry. He would discuss major world events and what constitutes a good person with Mr. Crown and Mr. Cagle. He also loved geeking out over the newest video games or talking at length about poetry with Mr. Apple.
