Secret Lives of CCA Coaches – Lydia Radcliffe – Coach Radcliffe, an alumnus of CCA (class of 2014), was the Assistant Coach for the Women’s Varsity Soccer team this year. She will be taking over as Head Coach next year! Coach Radcliff is also the Assistant Athletic Director for Chapelgate. She handles many of the on-campus student activities like Student Board, Pep Rallies, Christmas Half-Day Activities, Spirit Week, and our BUZZBY’s, which is our end of season dinner and awards. Lydia played soccer at Chapelgate and performed in 6 drama performances during her time here as a student. She then went on to play D1 soccer and run D1 track at Charleston Southern, where she majored in Theater. Lydia graduated from CSU in 2018 and worked at the University of Maryland as an Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach before coming back to Chapelgate. Coach Radcliffe is also highly active in Chapelgate Church where you will see her read during a service or lead a bible study. Some other hobbies are playing tennis, and during the quarantine, she has been listening to audiobooks and putting together puzzles. Some of her favorites are – Activities: Running, Hiking, Sports, Cooking – Movies: Chariots of Fire – TV Show: QB1 – Artists: Lecrae, Lauren Daigle – Food: Salmon or anything Seafood.
