Our goal is to build a competitive program that builds character and draws girls into a concept of team understanding. We strive to help each person in the program (players, coaches, parents) to be the best they can be individually and corporately to honor our Lord Jesus Christ.
– Coach Isaac
The softball team develops leadership skills by mentoring younger players to help build program depth, teach discipline, hard work, and by preparing girls to be their best. They use the opportunities of these lessons to learn about being part of something bigger than the individual while understanding the individual must be their best to add to the team. Great teammates make great employees, citizens, spouses, family members, church members by becoming servant-leaders.
Our softball team was restarted in 2004 when Coach Isaac found 15 players (three of which played softball regularly) to participate on a varsity level team. They have won over 150 games, have made it to the IAAM B conference finals 4 times in the last 5 years winning it all in 2018 with a perfect record in conference play. Several players have gone onto college programs, some on scholarship.
