Middle School Summer Reading List

Attention C.C.A. parents and middle school students:
Reading over the summer is an enjoyable opportunity to improve reading skills, speed, comprehension and vocabulary. C.C.A. is offering encouragement with a reading incentive program. Students are to choose at least five books from the attached reading list. After a student has completed reading each chosen book and completed the book report form, a parent must sign the form attesting to this fact.
One form is to be completed for each book read. During the first week of school in the fall, book forms will be collected by Reading and English teachers. Students achieving the goal of five books will be invited to a celebration lunch of pizza, soda and ice cream sandwiches.
