Guidance Philosophy

The mission of the CCA Guidance Department is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing the academic and personal/social development of all students in grades 6-12, with an emphasis on college readiness. In partnership with CCA teachers, parents/guardians, and administrators, the Guidance office works to facilitate opportunities for students to acquire the educational and social competencies necessary for college and career.

Transcript Questions & Answers

How do I obtain a copy of my transcript?

Please use one of the online request forms found below. Use the “Automated Transcript Request” to submit your request and process payment. If you prefer, you can print out a paper copy, “Transcript Request Form”, and mail it along with $4 to:

Will my transcript include my SAT or ACT scores?

No. Your transcript will NOT include any standardized test scores. To get copies of your SAT scores, please contact www.collegeboard.org and for copies of your ACT scores, please contact www.act.org.

What do transcripts cost?

Transcripts are $4 each, and payment must be received before we mail them out.

How long does it take to get a transcript sent out?

During the months of September through May, please allow one week processing time. During the months of June, July, and August, please allow at least 2 weeks for your transcript request to be processed.

Can my transcript be emailed?

Yes. But please note that transcripts that are emailed are NOT official, and will be marked “unofficial transcript”. Please print the email address clearly and also include the name of the institution.

Who should I contact if I have questions about my transcript?

Dale Cahill in the Guidance office handles transcript requests for students who graduated from Chapelgate. She can be reached at dcahill@chapelgateacademy.org or at (410) 442-5888 ext. 164.
